Advocated for stronger math and reading acceleration programs in Humble ISD since 2005.

Championed the importance of traditional math concepts and facts while integrating innovative learning with classical teaching methods.

3.

Defended phonics-based literacy instruction for K-5, including spelling tests and vocabulary programs that have since been removed.

4.

Regularly engaged with parents, teachers, administrators, and community members in both informal and formal settings to listen and find solutions.

Led and actively participated in PTO organizations at the elementary, middle, and high school levels throughout 19 years in Humble ISD.

Hosted coffee chats at Kingwood High School, consistently encouraging administration to explore innovative programs that blend classical and modern education models.

7.

Advocated for high school reading programs, accelerated reading initiatives at the middle school level, and a stronger focus on literacy at the elementary level.

8.

Pushed for the expansion of AP classes in Humble ISD, urging the advanced learning department to move beyond pilot programs and secure state funding for qualified courses.

9.

Championed the enhancement of CTE programs such as DECA and Speech & Debate, restoring funding to critical communication-based programs that were previously underfunded.

10.

Served as a dedicated parent coach for Speech & Debate and DECA, ensuring the success of these programs across all Humble ISD schools.

11.

Successfully served as a board member for The Source for Women, National Christian Foundation, Lifesong for Orphans, and myLIFEspeaks, working to improve giving practices and implement sustainable business solutions.

12.

Supported and advanced the Youth Action Board program at Project Protect Our Children, prioritizing education in the fight against human trafficking.
